BIRTHDAY
COOKING PARTIES
A cooking party is the perfect way to celebrate the birthday of a young food lover. Not only does a cooking party provide an unbeatable hands-on activity to entertain the kids, but the event culminates in a fully prepared meal (including dessert) for them all to enjoy. Even fussy eaters will be thrilled to eat something they have made with their own hands.
"Is my kitchen big enough?"
As long as you can put a cutting board down (in the kitchen or on the dining room table) as many times as there are students, you can comfortably host a cooking party in your home kitchen.

For those without kitchen space to spare for a big party, Home Cooking will book a fully-equipped culinary studio for your event (see studios in Greenwich Village and Chelsea).

AFTERSCHOOL
COOKING CLASSES
Home Cooking's afterschool classes offer budding chefs (8 years old and up) an opportunity to cook their favorite foods in the safety and comfort of their home kitchen. From the beginning, students are involved in deciding what they will learn by designing their own menu with the help of their experienced chef-instructor.
As a bonus, Mom and Dad won't have to cook that night since each class culminates in a full meal for the family.
Pricing:
Each hands-on class is $250 (3 classes: $675) and includes 2 people, so students can invite a friend, sibling, or parent to join in the fun.
Each student receives a detailed shopping list and recipe booklet prior to class. Groceries are additional.
